Decide how you'd like your beef finished
All our beef is grass-fed, meaning they are raised on grass while freely grazing our pastures. This type of beef tends to be leaner and has a distinct, rich flavor due to the cows' natural diet. Grass-fed beef is often sought after for its potential health benefits, such as higher levels of omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants.
We give our clients to option to choose between grain finished or grass finished beef depending on their family's preference. You can read about each method below and then select how you'd like your share finished out on the "Choose Options" button during check out.

Grain-Finished
These cows are fed a locally grown, high quality grain for the last 2 months in addition to grazing grass. This grain finishing process helps the cows gain weight quickly, leading to more marbled meat. Grain-finished beef is typically more tender and has a milder, sweeter flavor compared to grass-fed beef that is loved by our clients!
Grass-Finished
Cows that are grass-finished remain on a grass and forage diet for their entire life. This means they are never fed grains, ensuring that the beef retains its lean, flavorful profile. Grass-finished beef often has a firmer texture and a more pronounced taste compared to grain-finished beef. It also tends to be a healthier choice, with higher nutritional value and a lower fat content.
