Stock your freezer with a variety of cuts from your very own whole steer! You can select any combination of cuts—such as ground beef, steaks, roasts, and more—to fill your freezer with delicious, natural beef for your family. The steers will be harvested in fall 2025, just in time for the holiday season!
Our steers are grass-fed throughout their lives and can be "grain-finished" for the last 90 days, where they'll enjoy local grains in addition to pasture grazing. This finishing method enhances the marbling and flavor of the beef. Alternatively, you can opt for a 100% grass-fed steer by specifying your preference at checkout.
The cost is $5.25 per pound of hanging weight, with an average hanging weight of around 150-200 pounds (though this will vary based on each individual animal). After aging at the butcher for 10-14 days and custom cutting according to your instructions, you'll end up with approximately 65-70% of the hanging weight in your freezer.
We now offer the convenience of monthly payments instead of a lump sum at pickup. If you choose to enroll in the payment program, we'll send you a monthly invoice via Shopify for online payment. Once the steers are processed and we have the final hanging weight in July, we'll send you an invoice for the remaining balance. You can select your preferred payment method at checkout.
